The Gun Owners Alliance e-mail list is a compilation of various RKBA & educational pro-gun editorials, press releases and news that have definite impact on our society, and that you as a pro-gun activist would be interested in. We also cover Legislation during various Legislative sessions with up-to-the-minute "insider" reports that you can use to voice your opinions to your elected Representatives around the Nation. You will also receive updates from R. Mermelstein's "Ask the Rabbi" column.

The alerts are intended as a mobilization tool, and an educational tool. We never send e-mail "just to have something to send", so there is no specific amount of time between alerts. You will not see a large quantity of alerts from us. To estimate, the very maximum per week would be  1 to 3  e-mail messages. Usually it is much lower, depending on current legislation moving on the Hill, or in the State Capitols.

And, as a matter of security, your e-mail address is never sold, given out, or otherwise divulged to other parties, forever.

In the mean time, subscribe & enjoy, and be sure to be an active e-mail subscriber. Call your elected officials when we send out alerts regarding various legislation that can affect your right to keep and bear arms. And be sure to give us your feedback from time to time, so we can know if the material we send out is having an impact in your life, and the lives of others around you. If we have been of service to you, tell your friends, so they too can also subscribe.

Your opinions on the 2nd amendment ARE important to us!

We would like to cordially invite you to join the Gun Owners Alliance Discussion List. THIS DISCUSSION LIST IS DIFFERENT THAN THE ALERTS LIST DISCUSSED ABOVE. The difference?

1) The existing alerts list you DISCUSSED ABOVE does not provide a "public forum"
    for you to voice your opinions on the 2nd amendment.

2) HOWEVER, the "discussion list" you are NOT YET subscribed to, does
    allow you to post your ideas and opinions regarding the 2nd amendment
    to ALL discussion list subscribers!

This is a great way to brainstorm TOGETHER, to find solutions to perplexing problems that confront the pro 2nd amendment movement every day. It is also an informational list that keeps us informed of current 2nd amendment topics from various news sources, that you might not receive from the alerts list discussed above!

Thinking outloud is encouraged on this list!

Common sense will be in force. Be ethical, and kind to one another, even if you do not agree with the opinion stated. No Internet Flame wars will be tolerated! The list will not be everyone's cup of tea, since there will be some strict guidelines to follow in regards to content that will be approved for posting, and constraints that will be placed upon personal attacks, and common courtesy among list subscribers to one another.

Please remain on-topic. Small talk (off-topic) issues will surface from time-to-time and will be given some tolerance, but not if it begins to dominate the core topic of this discussion list, which is, and always will be the 2nd Amendment.
