I'm afraid you've contacted yet another Right Wing conspirator. Gun Owners Alliance is an organization founded to educate all Americans in the supreme importance and validity of the US Bill of Rights. I am an Orthodox Jewish Rabbi. The right to keep and bear arms occupies so much of our time because those that would rewrite the Constitution and Bill of Rights have targeted the Second Amendment, the very cornerstone on which rests ALL our cherished American freedoms. One of our goals is to educate Jews, of all people, that we, the American people, empower the Government, and not the other way around. We challenge Jewish liberals that would render the Second Amendment null and void. Jewish liberals, a disproportionate percentage of the media and political movers and shakers in America, are suffering from extreme ignorance of Jewish history. Why, after centuries of oppression and genocide at the hands of governments, do liberal Jews oppose the Second Amendment -- the only safeguard they have that what happened in Hitler's Germany couldn't happen today? Well, ma'am, there are pro firearms Jews in America, thank G-d. We are vocal, we are political, many of us fought for America in her armed services to preserve the freedoms of the Bill of Rights, and we won't roll over and play dead for Dianne Feinstein, Charlie Schumer, Frank Lautenberg, et al. I hope your question has been answered.
