Can you shoot .32 S&W long in a .32 H&R Magnum Revolver?

ANSWER: Dear Jeff,
Here
is the link to the web page of SAAMI (Sporting Arms and Ammunition
Manufacturers' Institute) listing unsafe arms and ammunition
combinations: http://www.saami.org/unsafe3.htm . No doubt many other
shooters with similar inquiries will benefit from the information
posted there, too.
Based on these industry recognized guidelines, the two cartridges you note are not interchangeable.
Best regards,
Rabbi R. Mermelstein
