Dear RKBA Friends and supporters,
We Welcome an Old Friend Back into the RKBA Arena!
It has been over two years since Rabbi R. Mermelstein took a
much-needed respite from answering several thousand questions related
to Judaism, firearms, and Second Amendment issues over a period of four
years through the website of another organization.
Please read http://www.gunownersalliance.com/Mermelstein-02.htm
for the details behind Rabbi Mermelstein’s absence from the Web,
because he has told me in no uncertain terms that his only wish is to
work in the present and not dwell on the past.
"Ask the Rabbi" is at: http://www.gunownersalliance.com/AskTheRabbi.htm
The ground rules for submitting questions to our new Ask the Rabbi feature are straightforward:
1. No questions within the parameters of Judaism, firearms,
handloading or RKBA are off-limits. We only ask that you
keep them clear, succinct, and to the point.
2. Rabbi Mermelstein has refused to accept one cent for the
time he will donate to Gun Owners Alliance. Therefore, don’t
scream foul if you don’t receive a response within 24 hours.
3. If you’re disgruntled by the work we do or by the reasons
a rabbi is devoting time to the preservation of our American
freedom that hinges on the unqualified Right to Keep and Bear
Arms and feel moved to write disrespectful or inflammatory
e-mail, I will be screening each and every submission. The
Delete key on my keyboard is 100% functional. It is your
time being wasted, not ours.
4. Rabbi@GunOwnersAlliance.com is the ONLY e-mail address to
submit your questions to Rabbi R. Mermelstein.
5. http://www.gunownersalliance.com/AskTheRabbi.htm is the web
page to see if your questions have already been answered.
Many old files are still quite timely and posted by subject matter.
Perhaps your inquiry has already been answered. Even if it hasn’t, you
may be pleasantly surprised to read something new.
From the volume of e-mail I’ve received asking whatever became of
a staple column on the Internet, we hope you are as pleased as we are
to see the return of the ever popular "Ask the Rabbi" feature by Rabbi
R. Mermelstein.
Sincerely,
Gun Owners Alliance
