Curious. We have our President of this Nation that won't admit to perjury, or lying under oath in court. Nope, he takes the long way to China and back to explain his "lies", but never comes right out, and admits he lied.
Seems these days, 'ol Chuck Heston has been taking a lesson or two from the prez up in Washington, D.C., and pulling a "Clinton" himself.
Last week, Mike Wallace of CBS "60 Minutes" asked about Heston's support of the 1968 Gun Control Act. Heston replied that in his life he had made many mistakes; though he did not specifically say that was one of them.

Quizzed about his conversion, Heston said it was triggered by a Barry Goldwater Presidential campaign billboard which said: "In your heart you know he's right."
But Goldwater used that slogan in his 1964 campaign, four years before Heston worked with President Johnson to pass the Gun Control Act.
Care to swear under penalty of perjury over that one, Chuck?
Heston also went on to say that he agreed
with former President Bush's resignation from the NRA, and chided Wayne
LaPierre for making the famous "Jack Booted Thug" statement. Yes, he agreed
with anti-gunner Mike Wallace of CBS "60 Minutes", that the "Jack Booted
Thug" Phrase was not "mainstream" of America, and
it should have never been said.
While your at it Chuck, tell Liberal Rep. John Dingell (D-MI), he was wrong also for saying about the BATF" ....a jack-booted group of fascists who are perhaps as large a danger to American society as I could pick today." In fact, tell Dingell he is NOT mainstream.
You sure about this "Road to Damascus" conversion, Chuck?
Now you know what the "Chief Moderator" for NRA believes, and now you know, "The R E S T of the Story."
NRA. The "winning" team?
